Wedding for $1,000 is a wedding planning publication based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, operated by The Aisle Collection LLC. When these terms say "we" or "us," they mean Wedding for $1,000 and The Aisle Collection LLC.
Using the site
You're welcome to browse, read, search, use the planning tools, and share links to any page. We ask that you don't:
- Use the site for anything unlawful or misleading
- Try to get into parts of the site that aren't meant for the public
- Interfere with how the site works, or overload it with automated requests
- Copy the site's content in bulk, or use it to train or feed automated systems
- Send us anything harmful, like viruses or spam, through our forms
Information, not professional advice
Our guides, posts, books, and tools share what we've learned about planning weddings on a small budget. They're general information, not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or financial advice. Prices, venue policies, marriage license rules, and vendor practices change, and they vary by state and county. Some posts in our archive were written years ago. Please confirm the details with your venue, your vendors, your county clerk, or the right professional before you rely on them.
Budget figures, allocations, and calculator results are estimates to help you plan, not quotes. We work hard to keep our numbers accurate, but we can't promise that every detail is complete or up to date.
Our content
The words, photos, graphics, logo, books, tools, and design of this site belong to The Aisle Collection LLC or to the people who license them to us, and they're protected by copyright and trademark law. Apart from what these terms allow, please don't copy, republish, or change them without our written permission. You're welcome to quote a short passage from a post if you name Wedding for $1,000 and link back to the post. You can also pin or share links to any of our pages.
"Wedding for $1,000" and our logo are our trademarks. Please don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or work with you when we don't.
Books and downloads
When you buy a book, you get a personal license to download it, keep it, and print it for your own wedding. Please don't resell it, share the file, or post it publicly. The Starter Kit is free, and the same personal-use terms apply.
Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for our books. It runs the checkout, takes payment, handles sales tax, and issues your receipt, and its own terms apply to the purchase. If a book isn't useful to you, email us within thirty days and we'll refund you. You keep the file.
Sponsored posts
Sending a sponsored post inquiry is a way to start a conversation. It doesn't create a contract or an obligation for either of us. A placement is agreed only when we accept it in writing, and it follows the rate card and policies on our Advertise With Us page. If anything elsewhere on this site conflicts with that written acceptance, the acceptance controls. Sponsored posts are always labeled as sponsored.
Example weddings
The weddings on our Example Weddings page are illustrations built from published 2026 prices, not specific couples. Prices vary by place and season, and your own quotes may come in higher or lower. If we add weddings readers send us, we'll say so on each one.
Other sites and services
Our site links to other sites, including shops and vendors, and some of those links are affiliate links. Our books are sold through Lemon Squeezy, and sponsor invoices come from PayPal. We don't control those sites and services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Your privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect through the site and how we use it.
Disclaimers
We do our best to keep the site running and accurate, but we provide the site, the tools, and the content "as is," without promises of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Wedding for $1,000, The Aisle Collection LLC, and the people who work with us aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that come from using the site or relying on its content. This includes lost deposits or wedding costs. If we're ever found liable for something connected to the site, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, and nothing here changes a written agreement between us.
Michigan law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Washtenaw County, Michigan.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the updated terms.
