How to Word Your Invitations For an Adults Only Wedding
For the brides that are wondering how to put adults only without actually saying it, this is how I made my rsvp cards. It’s so hard to figure out politely how to do it, but with our wedding, we have to pay $47 a head regardless and that includes alcohol, and we have to pay that amount regardless of age. I’m filling in the designated number of guests invited and addressing the specific people on the envelop.
I also added this onto my wedding website:
“While we love children, in order to allow all guests, including parents, to have an evening of relaxation, we have chosen this to be an adults only occasion. We hope this advance notice means that you will still be able to share our special day and enjoy an evening off!”
