When it comes to throwing a lovely celebration, here at Wedding for $1000 we have a plethora of garden wedding ideas! I couldn’t narrow it down on which ones were the best so I wrote you out a boatload of sweet ideas to make your garden wedding the most perfect start to your married life together. • Metal chairs can get scorching hot in the sun, so opt for wooden chairs with cushions in your wedding color.
• Arrange greenery on tables to keep the budget low and accent them with large single blooms instead of centerpieces.
• Hanging mason jars from trees with candles make gorgeous garden lights when the sun goes down.
• Make sure there’s a shaded area for elderly guests if you decide to have your ceremony in the heat of the day.
• Keep your guests hydrated with a lemonade stand, DIY fruity cocktails or with fruit-infused water stands.
• Big, bright globe string lights give a romantic glow to receptions when the sun goes down.
• Go for a tea length or knee length gown to keep your dress garden wedding chic.
• Sunglasses, cooling mist, and/or insect repellent make sweet favors on each guest’s seat.
• Misting the flowers with water is a good idea for scorching hot days to keep them fresh for longer.
